Weekend tour

Tijdens deze Band of Brothers Weekend Tour krijgt u een duidelijk beeld van de bijdrage van Easy Company en de 101st Airborne Division tijdens de Slag om de Ardennen. U krijgt achtergrondinformatie over de posities, troepenbewegingen, persoonlijke verhalen van de veteranen, en meer....

Na een korte introductie in onze winkel bezoeken we de volgende locaties:
- Mardasson en Bastogne Historical Center
- Posities Duitde Pantzerlehr Divisie
- Peace Woods
- Voormalig treinstation
- Defensieve posities 501th PIR en 506th PIR
- Easy Company monument en Bois Jacques
- Easy Company posities van 17 december 1944 tot aan de aanval op Foy
- Posities van de Duitse 88 milimeter kanonnen gericht op Bois Jacques
- Monument tijdelijke begraafplaats
- Duitse begraafplaats in Recogne
- Duits hoofdkwartier
- Duitse posities tijdens "Hell's Night"
- Posities 506th Cobru
- Aanval op Noville
- Gebeurtenissen in Rechamps
- De zogenaamde aanrijdroute van de medics
- Terug naar Bastogne

U gaat met ons op tour in een Dodge WC62 of een na-oorlogse terreinwagen van het leger.

Deze tour start op zaterdag om 10.00 uur en eindigt op zondag om 18.00 uur. Deze tour is volledig verzorgd en dat houdt in:

Zaterdag: lunch, diner en overnachting in een goed hotel in Bastogne
Zondag: ontbijt en lunch, afsluitende borrel en een aandenken aan dit weekend.

U verblijft in één van de betere 3 of 4-sterren hotels in Bastogne (afhankelijk van beschikbaarheid van kamers). Wij verzorgen deze reserveringen voor u.

Opstapplaats is bij ons winkelpand "Militaria Bastogne" aan Place McAuliffe 38R.

Deze tour zal doorgaan wanneer wij in totaal minimaal 5 reserveringen hebben. Dat betekent dus niet dat u met minimaal 5 personen hoeft te komen. Wij combineren uw reservering met de reservering van andere klanten. De kosten van deze tour zijn 275 euro per persoon.

After a short introduction in our store we’ll visit the following locations:
- Mardasson and Bastogne Historical Centre

- Former halt station
- Defensive positions of the 501st PIR and the 506th PIR
- Easy Company monument and the Bois Jacques area
- Easy Company positions from December 17th, 1944 until de attack on Foy
- Positions of the German 88’s that were aiming on the Bois Jacques woods
- Monument on the temporary cemetery
- German cemetery in Recogne
- German HQ
- German positions during "Hell's Night"
- 506th positions Cobru
- Attack on Noville
- Events in Rechamps
- The so cold “route of the medics”
- Back to Bastogne

You can join us with this tour and ride with a Dodge WC62 or a post-war army terraincar.
This tour starts at 10 A.M. on Saturday and the tour will end on Sunday at 6 P.M.
 
This is a full service tour which includes:
Saturday: lunch, diner and a room in one of Bastogne's 3 or 4 star hotels.
Sunday: breakfast, lunch, a "farewell" drink and snack at the end of the tour. You will also receive a gift as a memory to this tour.
 
The address of our store is Place McAuliffe 38R, Bastogne (in the middle of the centre across the Sherman Tank). 

The minimum amount of registrations for this tour is 5 people. That doesn't mean you can't book this tour when you're coming with less than 5 people. We'll just combine different reservations to complete the tour group you'll be in. The price for this tour is 275 euro per person.
